Brand Seafood, harvested by our trawlers from the cold, pure waters
of Iceland, is regarded throughout the industry as the world's highest-quality,
freshest-tasting fish. Quality and product consistency are rigorously
monitored for texture, color, and shape to ensure that restaurant patrons
will never have a disappointing dining experience. The fish is gutted,
cleaned, and deboned immediately after it comes aboard. The catch is then
either frozen at sea or quickly packed in ice to preserve freshness. Icelandic
Brand products are never twice frozen or packed with sodiumtripolyphosphate
or any other preservatives.
In addition to fillets, our product line also consists of further processed
seafood, mainly breaded, battered, and grill-marked portions cut from
fillets and blocks. Cod, haddock, ocean perch, and pollock are our most
popular species.
We also market SeaStar products, fish that are not necessarily harvested
in the waters of Iceland, but are processed according to the same high-quality
standards.
